ColourPop Lippie Stix

Hey everyone... I'm back! (after what feels like a million years)

And jumping straight into a quick review of the 16 Colourpop Lippie Stix that I've got my hands on
(well, 17 but i lost one of them aaahhh).

I just want to start off by saying that i got these almost a year ago, and i am pretty sure that not all the shades i am about to mention are still available..so sorry about that whoops.

I just wanna talk about them real quick because i am IN LOVEEEEE!

These Lippie Stix come in a variety of different shades and finishes as listed below:-

Difference between each finish:

Glossy: Medium- full coverage, packed with moisture, feels extra creamy & buttery with a glossy finish
Satin: Full coverage, long wearing lipstick glides on smoothly with a hydrating feel & has modern satin finish
Matte: Full coverage, superrr long wearing, ultra comfortable & seriously loaded with pigment in a matte finish
Hyper-Glossy: Full coverage, literally melts onto the lips, feels ultra creamy, super moisturizing with a glossy finish
Pearlized: Medium to full coverage with highly reflective pearls that give pearlized finish

The shades i went for were mostly matte, with the exception of a couple of colours i just couldn't resist ;)

Lets get into it!

Pinch (Matte)
Pinch is more of a beige nude. This one a matte but creamy to apply.

Topanga (Satin)
Topanga is a muted down coral. Very vibrant. Satin finish & glides on smooth. Alot more creamy than the matte finishes

Julep (Cream)
Julep is a very corally red. Red with coral undertones.

Fern (Cream)
Fern is a cool tone violet.

Tootsi (Matte)
Tootsi is cool tone grey-ish beige. It is more of a dry matte compared to some of the others.

Lumiere (Matte)
Lumiere is very wearable natural mauve shade. Created by Kathleen lights to cater to those who prefer a more natural lip, as well as those who are a bit more daring. Perfect for both!

Brink (Matte)
Brink is similar to Lumiere, with a bit more coral in it. Inspired by the Kylie Jenner Lip.

Rocket (Satin)
Rocket is a bright pink (with coral in it, ofcourse...i may have an obsession)

Brunch (Satin)
Brunch I would describe as an orange pink. Slightly neon. Described as a mid tone coral on the site

Chi Chi (Matte)
Chi Chi is a straight up orange. Its an orange lipstick

Yasmin (Matte)
Yasmin is similar to Chi Chi, it is orange, but definitely has a bit more red to it

Grind (Matte)
Grind is described as a very blue violet shade

Leather (Matte)

Leather is quite similar to Grind. Just darker. Described as a deep blackened violet

Feminist (Matte)
Feminist is a very to black, but more purple in it. Very very deep, dark purple

Pitch (Matte)
Pitch is a warm toned brown. Reminds me very much of chocolate. A chocolate brown lets call it ;)

Bull Chic (Matte)
Bull Chic is a matte black. It is basically a jet black, but not quite as matte as i would have liked it to be. Does still have a bit of a moist look to it, like most of the other mattes in this collection. Setting it with some translucent powder does the trick :)

PROS
Packaging- Super Sleek & Easy to apply
Colour Range- Insane range of colours! Literally every colour you could imagine- I'm talking beige nudes to jet blacks!
Price- At only USD$5 theres really no going wrong!
Quality- Great quality! Not just for the price, but actually feels like a high end lipstick. Both in terms of pigmentation and feel!
Finishes- Whether you're a matte girl (like myself) or all about the gloss, you will not be disappointed

CONS
Mattes- I will say the matte shades are not completely matte. By this i mean that they do have a bit more of a moist kind of feel (which is great for your lips, but not so much if you looking for a powder-dry-stay-all-day kind of lipstick) This can be fixed however with a light dusting of some translucent powder ;)
* note that some matte shades are more dry than others.
Ease of access- Colourpop is actually pretty hard to get a hold of, if you dont live in the US that is. Hopefully they will start shipping to more countries in the future!

Dont forget to check out the full review and lip swatches over on my channel :)

Hope this was helpful :)

Let me know what you think!?
